Why did you start this team in Western Mass?
We started this team in Western Mass to inspire local action for human rights and connect our community to a global cause. North Korea’s human rights crisis is often overlooked, and we wanted to change that by creating a space where people can learn about and support North Korean refugees. Western Mass has a diverse community, and we hope to make a difference through education, advocacy and fundraising.
What are your future goals?
1. Increase Local Awareness
Our first goal is to increase awareness in the Western Mass community about the realities of life in North Korea and the difficulties North Korean refugees face. We plan to host events, and presentations to educate people about the importance of this cause.
2. Raise Funds for Refugee Rescue Missions
We aim to raise funds to support LiNK’s rescue missions. Through our online fundraiser, and events, our goal is to contribute directly to North Korean refugees, helping them on their journey. We hope to raise a total of $3000 as our first goal.

Our goal is to raise awareness and gather essential resources to aid those affected by this humanitarian crisis. Through various events and community initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact and provide much-needed support to those in need.
